You don’t need someone to fix you. You need someone who will actually try to understand you.

You’re not a diagnosis. You’re not a checklist of symptoms. You’re a person with a history, a biology, a set of relationships, and a story that no single label could ever fully capture. To be human is magnificent and complex. If you’ve ever sat across from someone who made you feel like a problem to be solved rather than a person to be understood, you already know that isn’t the kind of therapy that actually helps. My role isn’t to solve your problems for you. It’s to help you better understand yourself so that together we can discover the path forward.

I bring something a little uncommon to this work: training and experience across three disciplines. As a Registered Social Worker, Registered Nurse, and Psychotherapist, I understand how biology, neurochemistry, social environment, and psychology all shape the way we think, feel, and behave. That cross-disciplinary lens means I’m not looking at just one piece of you. I’m looking at the whole picture, and I tailor what I do to fit that picture rather than fitting you into a predetermined approach. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma therapy, psychodynamic and narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and more, not as a formula, but as a toolkit. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, with a particular focus on trauma, grief, addiction, and those navigating obsessive or compulsive patterns. I tend to feel most comfortable working with people between the ages of 12 and 60, including those who see therapy as part of a spiritual journey. I am currently accepting new clients, with appointments available Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, offered in person in Sarnia, virtually, and by phone.

I hold a Master of Social Work from King’s University College, a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western University. But what I want you to know more than any of that is this: I will never take away your agency or devalue your insights into your own life. You have the answers. I’m just a conduit to help you realize them. This thing called psychotherapy is sacred to me. I’m grateful every day that I get to practice in this profession, and if you’re willing to allow me to walk alongside you on this journey, it would be both an honour and a privilege.

Outside the office, you’ll find me reading the classics, writing, hitting the gym, or planning the next trip somewhere I haven’t been yet. I’ve travelled to about 25 countries across Europe and Asia, and I spend a lot of time working on my Subaru WRX. If you’re ready for someone who will meet you exactly where you are, book a free consult and let’s start there.
